Who we are

Travel Asia Ltd (“we”, “us”) is a UK-registered company organising trips to Asian destinations for customers travelling from Europe. For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we are the controller of personal data collected through this website and our trip planning correspondence.

What we collect

When you enquire or plan a trip with us we collect your name, email address, phone number and trip preferences (destinations, dates, party size, interests). If you travel with us we may also collect booking details necessary for reservations made on your behalf, and — where legally required — passport information, always with your knowledge.

Why we use it

We use your data to answer enquiries, prepare itineraries and quotes, make bookings you ask for, and provide support during travel. Our legal bases are performance of a contract (or steps prior to it), legitimate interests in running and improving our service, and consent where we ask for it (for example for our newsletter).

Sharing

We share booking details only with the suppliers and local partners delivering your itinerary (hotels, transport, guides), with payment providers where relevant, and with authorities where the law requires. We never sell personal data.

Retention & your rights

Enquiry data is kept up to 24 months; client files for booked trips are kept 6 years as required for tax and consumer-law purposes. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing, by emailing info@travel-asiaactivities.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
